Man the older I get the less I like the heat! Today was the first day in about 2 months that it hasn't been HOT and SUNNY here in Colorado. Plus we've been in a drought for 3 years - LET IT RAIN already. I downloaded some American Indian rain songs I hope it helps.

Up here in New Hampshire, we had drought conditions last year but it's over now. We have had a week of temps in the nineties and humidity to match!
But I love the tropical weather. I do better than most up here when the temp. and humidity are trying to top each other. If it starts to get to me, all I have to do is think back to Jan. and Feb. Suddenly I feel much better. :D

I smeared Artic silver on the top of my head and installed a heat sink and fan. Don't mind the heat but the humidity is killer. It feels like I'm under water.

We get snow here in Colorado in July/August also, of course usually only high in the mountains. Last July I was biking up Mt Evans (14,000 ft. +) and got buried in snow, needless to say it was a cautious trip down.

Hi All,
Yes the same here the older I'm getting the less I like the heat.
If it gets to the high seventies I start melting.
Still it's a good excuse for an early day.
Glad I'm self employed. lol :D

Doesn't seem to matter where you are but what seems to be happening everwhere is that the weather is just getting more extreme. We have had about 4 days of proper sunshine in the past 4 months and temp seldom over 60F and the "emerald" isle is turning yellow from rotting grass and crops.

Good job Paul!
Tell me, will you desert us children on the 'other' side once you do cross? Will you still be surviving on a diet of beaks, feathers and grey matter? :D Never mind, use the post for something useful as you always seem to do. I'll ^5 you later...
(Sorry to hear about your weather and harvest forecast...)

FTT The way to keep going both forwards and backwards at the same time is to row a boat. That way you never lose sight of where you have come from. Rowing is hugely helped by a regular avian diet!!!
Don't know why, but suddenly my mind has had a flashback to the ending of the film Annie Hall. A man says to a psychiatrist, “My wife thinks she’s a chicken and she’s driving me crazy!” The psychiatrist asks him, “So why don’t you leave her?” The man answers, “I can’t -- I need the eggs.”

Its been a typical summer in Atlanta so far, temps in the mid 90's although a cool front moved in so it dropped temps a bit. Worked a regional at Road Atlanta this past weekend and it was rather warm. Good thing was I worked a corner by myself and most of the non-open wheel groups were 30 cars+ with the endurance group have 65 cars on course at the same time. Its amazing with cars flying past you how quickly you forget the heat.
