I was looking around for another board that used the "User Ratings" I had previously suggested here at pcguide.
hehe- I found this nice forum here (http://support.pcpitstop.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=10;t=001756#000011)
I have posted 30 posts in (3) days the same as I do here, to people that do not know me and I have NO "tenure" there at this site whatsoever, nor know ANYone there.
this is what I was talking about.

when everyone was all up in the air about avatars and users contributing being recognized by the content of their contributions rather than the quantity?

Hi Sea
Point taken!
Do you know WHO gave you the five stars?
Was there any communication with u about the matter?
This is just for my own interest.
PS. Not surprised at the rating, which I presume is the maximum?:) :)

Only Sea69 and Frank McNabb have "Member Rated" stars on that thread! Sea(*****) = 20 Posts and 1 Vote; Frank(****) = 446 Posts and 3 Votes. So it's hard to see how the 5-star rating is created.
Sea69 = 5-star (obviously). :cool:
Donna = Not member rated - but being the "Resident Sweetheard" is more than enough of a recommendation, especially with that beguiling wink! :D
Hey, who is the Resident Sweetheart on this site anyways!!!! Are we missing out on something here ;)

( I hope my use of past tense is inaccurate)
and donna's a sweetheart where-ever she is.

A lot of us who have been members there for along time have disabled our star ratings. I got a five star for a realy good joke i told. hehe
If I went there now and gave sea a 1 star rating, then he would probably go down to 3 stars. Its an average thing. Paul if you went there and just posted "Hi!" I could give you five stars for it. The ratings are not just for that thread. The stars show up in every thread you post in once you get them.
I would have put Resident Sweetheart in my sig here, but I don't know you guys well enough. Adn well, I know enough about my computer to not have to ask to many questions, but not enough to answer many. So I'll never get my winking eye here.this will have to do.;) ;) ;)

Only one place on here that jokes are posted, just exclude that forum from the rating process. I think this is a good idea.
