I am posting on behalf of a third party.
Everytime this person tries to post a reply in our Ozfortress Forums (http://www.ozfortress.com/index.php?action=forums) he gets just a screen that says done at the bottom of it like this blank white screen (http://www.users.bigpond.net.au/willy/ozfortress.jpg).
The person can post new topics but can't seem to reply, he says he just keeps getting a blank white screen, even when he refreshes...wierd hey?
He has tried this;
Could you please try to logout, then delete your internets temporary internet files.
Tools -> Internet Options -> 'Delete Files...' and 'Delete Cookies...'
That didn't work.
If anyone has some ideas he would appreciate it. By the way he is using IE 6 and I hope you can tell the OS from the above pic.

Hi. The blank screen shown looks like the same page/(form) that he was using to reply-to and looks like he hasn't then been forwarded to the next relevant page. The question to answer is whether this is server or client side or a combination - but it looks like the scripting is either wrong or not properly interpreted.
Does the reply actually get posted to the thread? and, if so, can he thereafter go into it and edit the post?
Also, have you checked with http://www.vbulletin.com/support/ to see if this is a known bug?

As far as I know he gets nothing on reply posts but can post new topics. I have directed him to check with vBulletin so hopefully they can suggest something. I will try to get him to edit a new post he has posted and see if that works. Thanks for reply. Anyone else have any suggestions?

Just to clarify coz I may have misunderstood. Does he get the blank page immediately after he clicks on the Reply button (in other words the Page where he would post the reply is always blank; is not being properly rendered by his browser) or does he fill-in the reply and try to post it and then get left with a blank page, which had been my first (and probably wrong) impression.
If he never gets to the page at all plus the fact that he can post new posts seems to indicate that his own cookie and scripting settings shouldn't need to be altered. It looks like one of his own data files on the server side is corrupted.
He could help troubleshoot this by seeing (a) if he could sign up as a new user and see if things work OK (if they do it is definitely server side) and (b) by seeing if things work OK when using another pc (which would indicate a client side problem).
And ... if things worked OK by using another browser like Opera or Mozilla ... the finger would be pointed at IE (either corrupt or with the wrong settings).

Hey yankeelady welcome to the forums.
To start you own thread you just go into the area that seems to best match you needs and at the top there is a button http://www.pcguide.com/vb/images/buttons/newthread.gif Just hit that, give the thread a title and as much info as possible and you should be set.
