I am using linux (mandrake flavor)
On my computer after a few minutes of no use it goes into screen saver. How can I stop this?
So far have tried:
1) Right click on desk top, select "Configure desktop" (only option that seems viable). This opens up window with three tabs.
Desktop - this has nothing on screen savers etc
Appearance - this has nothing on screen savers
number of desktopns - this has nothing on screen savers
2) I have been to the "contol center"/entered root password
There is a browser like Windows IE i.e it is a tree structure.
I clicked on the PowerControl node/it exaands with 5 more nodes
- Battery monitor
- Energy
- ...
- ...
- ...
At node 2 had information for "Energy saving" parameters
For example change standby, suspend and power off paramaters.
Is this the same as when a screen saver comes on after few minutes of inactivity?
Beacuse after changing the "energy saving" parameters after few minutes of inactivity my DARN screen saver comes on again.
Help?
