New CD burner

Only problem being that you can only do this with the unused portion of a disk, but cool nonetheless...

Good point...it is pretty crazy idea...although in practice it's not nearly as impressive.

I bought one to try it out cause I was in the market for a new burner and figured if I didn't like it, I could return it to Best Buy...

It looks neat, but you can only see it on some CDRs. Verbatims work pretty well, Sony's might work too, but a lot of blanks don't show the burned vs unburned contrast very well, so it's only useful on some CDRs...

I did return it, it wasn't $180 cool, but my new TDK 48x24x48 was worth the $99 I paid for it :)
