hi everyone,
i'm kindof an amateur compared to all guys.
I have just started on my MCSE course.
I have 2 computers at home..Does anyone think it is advisable for me to get it connected by a network cable so that i can get some training at home..or is my class ok?
please reply

any personal first hand REAL experience at home will get you leaps and bounds past those just relying on class time learning.

I say go for it!

Yes,it will help you to learn and pass your course/test. Just don't use your "home network" experince on your resume. (nothing shouts newbie more than that :) It's better to state that your school provided loads of "hands on" training, even if that is a little white lie)

I wish I had a second computer to be able to practice on at home. Do you have any work experience previously or are you trying to learn all this from the ground up, like me? There is an almost overwhelming amount of information in the classes you are going to go though. Find out if where you are taking the classes will allow you to re-take the classes, this way you can go back and pick up what you missed the first time, I have found this to be really helpfull for not only me but for other students at the same school I am attending.

I wish you luck.
