pc wont turn on!

Just upgraded motherboard and cpu and now computer initializes for about 3 seconds and then tuns back off. What's the deal?

You are probably going to need to give a lot more info to get help with this one. Here are some ideas to look at. Have you checked all connections to make sure you don't have any loose cables?
Do you have any beeps when the system first turns on? If so record the pattern here so some of the wizards here can interpret them for you. Have you hooked up a lot of peripherals that might be confusing the situation? It may be worthwhile to take it down to bare bones and see if you can boot, then gradually add back peripherals.
Is any signal getting to your monitor, what do you see on the monitor?
