Hi, can someone please tell me the BEST software or utilities to detect and then prevent hackers hacking into you using trojans, worms, and all the other high tech methods please. Thanks

The three I use are ZoneAlarm (www.zonelabs.com), which notifies me of anything trying to go out or come in, this one's also called a FireWall.

AVG (http://www.grisoft.com), which is my AntiVirus protection.

And also, AdAware (http://www.lavasoft.com), which removes spyware...those little programs imbeded into other programs that want to report back information regarding my computer and my personal usage.

The beauty of all three of these, besides that fact that they work quite well, is that their "basic" forms are free. You can upgrade to paid versions with more bells and whistles if you so desire.
