WHEN MY COMPUTER BOOTS IT BOOTS JUST OKAY UNTIL WHEN IT WANTS TO BOOT THE OPARATING SYSTEM FROM THE HARD DISCK THEN AN ERROR MESSAGE POPS UP IE "HDD CONTROLLER FAILIER"
WHEN YOU PROCEED IT LSO BRINGS ANOTHER ERROR
"HDD I/O FAILIER"
WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM
DOES THIS MEAN THE CONTROLLER CHIP IN THE MOTHER BOARD OR THE CABLES OR THE HARD DISK ITSELF? PLEASE HELP:)

The HDD controller is on the hard drive, and it has failed. A new drive is needed.

The problem could also be caused by a bad HD controller on the motherboard, bad IDE cable connecting the HD to the MB, or incorrect HD data in CMOS.

if it is like wat DarrylDWoods had said, is the HDD controller fails, try send in to the manufacter, they will do a low-level format to ur HDD. If u r lucky enough, u can get more storage than the old one

How old is the system??
Is there any warranty on the computer.
If not, there might be warranty on the drive.
