Can someone please explain :::
Failed M 0 - BIT 0000000
Failed M 2 - BIT 0000EFF
This came up running a hardware diagnostic utility .

What tool are you using and what hareware is it checking....your motherboards RAM, video RAM, etc... What are your hardware specs anyway? What type of RAM is it you are using?

Hi;
This is a small diag utility taken from zdnet called::TUFFTEST LITE ver 1.52D
This makes a bootable floppy which one rebbot with & runs a battery of test checking CPU;RAM;Video;Floppy;HD etc etc.Its still running on my pc checking the Fixed disks.This code came up after it completed the floppy scan.
PC specs are:
AMD Athlon 950 Classic
Tekram MB : K7 KX-A
MEM : LD 256/133 mhz one stick in slot 1.
VGA : Matrox : DH 400 16 MB
H.D. : Maxtor - 30 GB
Monitor : KDS vs 7e
Modem:PCI 56k v.90

The following is from the Tuff-Test Pro manual:

"The Main Memory error code format is MTt-BbxxP (in Certification and Diagnostic Abbreviated and Extended Tests) or MTt-BbaaaaxxP (in Error Logging), where:

M = Main Memory

This looks to be chip failures on your RAM module.
