It was two years ago that I noticed an anouncement on one of my favorite sites (PC Guide :) ) that the owner was starting a forum site and was welcoming members. The rest is history. :D

Thanks Charles. I have learned so much in the last two years. This has been a GREAT place to spend my time. You have done an incredible job. I can't thank you enough for your efforts. :)

Thanks Pete for running what has become the best place for beginners and experts alike to get together and geek out. I've learned alot from you and not all of it has been about computers! :eek:

Thanks to our new moderator, mjc, for pullin' yoemans duty for close to two years now. Your effort has been amazing! (Do you ever sleep!?)

Those are the ones who joined in the first month and are still here on a somewhat regular basis....there where many others that came and went, or just stop by occaisionally. Without them there really wouldn't be a PC Guide forums...these folks got (and in some cases still keep) the ball rolling. So they deserve a round of applause also....

There are many others who joined in the first three months that are still around and contributing. So kudos to them too...yes I am in that group, too.

But of course the biggest congrats go to user number 1, the man who started it all... Ixl.

I think it's great that your birthday and the sites birthday are on the same day.

I'm glad I've got to know you. You were kind of a loose cannon and a very "entertaining" member in your early daze! And above all...you have been sooo helpful. To me and so many others. Being quick of mind and full of enthusiasm, you could have left some of us behind, but you have always treated me and the other newbies with respect and consideration. I appreciate it! :)
