hi everyone

im having a problem with internet explorer, when i log into my hotmail account the whole thing freezes once i get in, then it frees up again a few minutes later, if i then go into my inbox it does it again or into my contacts or anything for that matter. What makes the problem even weirder is that it doesnt happen in my own windows profile, only in the newer ones ive created for other members of the family. The security and advanced settings in Tools/internet options are identical. I rarely have any problems with crashes in my own user profile, least of all with internet explorer.

Im connected to an ISDN line via a Lucent P75 Pipeline Router.

My system specs:

Internet explorer version 6.0.2600.0000
windows XP professional
pentium 4 1.4ghz
128 mb RD ram
creative Geforce 2 MX200

First try dumping IE's cache....internet options => temp Internet Files => Delete.

Then try a cookie cleaner, and maybe an app called
Spider (http://www.fsm.nl/ward/), it will help to clean out a bunch of other junk that IE tends to collect.

Ok ive tried deleting temp internet files etc, i used spider to no avail and at this point the problem is just confusing me. under my own windows user profile i have no problems but when i use the other profiles it crashes when i sign into hotmail just as it registers as DONE. any more ideas mjc, i need the help, my troubleshooting isnt as sharp as it used be.
