Hi all, i got a 56k dial-up connecton with an ISP which disconnects me from the internet every 2 hrs. When the 2hrs is up, a box comes up saying that the connection has been disconnected and asks if i want to connect.

This never used to happen!
When the 2hrs was up it would automatically connect. How do i make this happen again??

Do you not have an option on the dial up box to 'connect automatically' ?

Ok, what ISP are you using.

And did you use their setup disk?

Some ISPs require a short period of time for a reconnect.

no i can reconnect straight away, but i want it so that when the isp disconnects, it reconnects automatically without me pressing the reconnect button

Yes, but that doesn't answer my question...netzero is one that does this.

Also what version of Windows?

I am using Windows ME and ntlworld ISP
