Hi all,
I've a big problem with the modem I've bought recently: today I've tried to plug it in the PC
(win 95, 133Mhz, 32Ram) but when it's in, the Pc doesn't start. The power seems insufficient
for the whole machine: i don't know what to do.

please help me

What kind of connection does the modem have and does it have an external power source? If it is being powered by the computer, what type of power supply do you have on the computer? Does the computer start up okay with the modem unplugged? Are you talking about an internal or external modem? If it is internal and powered by the computer it is possible that you don't have enough power to run your machine. What other things do you have installed on the computer?

Have you checked the specs on the modem. Some win modems won't work on a system under 166 MHZ.:D
