If I move a file from one hard-drive directory to HD directory, the date (for example, 12/7/00) & time stay the same. If I move it from the HD to a CD-RW (or vice versa), the date & time stay the same. If I rename a HD file, the date & time stay the same.
But when I rename a file or move it between directories within a CD-RW, the date & time change to those during which I renamed/moved the file. Why does this happen?
