I would like to connect four computers to one internet connection. (Hi-Speed on cable)I will get a modem from the ISP. What kind of hub would I need? and also would all the computers have to have seperate IP addresses to be on the net at the same time? Is there a web site for this? Thanks in advance.
With 4 machines I would look into a 6 port router, that way you should only need one IP. The six port, one for each machine, one for the modem and an extra (maybe for a printer, as some printers are able to be hooked up directly to a network, or just have it as a spare....)

MJC is right on track.
I persoanlly use the Linksys brand of routers. They are easy to use.
In addition to the routers, you will need cat 5 cables to connect the Network cards (also required) in each computer to the router.
