First I do not know if I am in the right area but will try nevertheless>>
I tried to enter in my Set Up using the Del command.
Unfortunately it required a pass word inwhich of course i lost normal>Is there any way of terminating this pass word>>

If, as I assume from your post, this is the BIOS password, the only way of regaining access is to wipe the BIOS settings, by either removing the battery for several hours, or, if one is provided,use the "Clear CMOS" jumper on your motherboard.

Thank you for your response: if I do this removing the battery and wiping out the BIOS Will I beable to reset my BIOS ??

Your bios will automatically reset to defaults when you replace the battery, but the password will be gone. It is easier to remove the jumper and replace it however, so I would urge you to look for that option before messing with the battery. You get the same effect with the bios being reset to defaults. Usually this jumper is right next to the CPU and there may be a diagram on the inside of your case that tells you where. You can also go to the website of the computer maker and find out about it in many cases.
