I'm running XP Pro on an 866mhz Dell Dimension with 256 megs of SDRAM. I have some serious problems now. A window came up called "Microsoft Windows" (the blue thing at the top said M$ Win). Within the window it said:
"The system has recovered from a serious error.

A log of this error has been created.

For more information about this error, click here."

Under click here, it said:

"Error signature

BCCode : 40000080 BCP1 : 00000000 BCP2 : 00000000 BCP3 : 00000000
BCP4 : 00000000 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 0_0 Product : 256_1

To view technical information about the error report, click here."

Under click here it said:

"The following files will be included in this error report:
C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini080702-01.dmp
C:\DOCUME~1\SNIPER~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER8.tmp.dir00\ sysdata.xml"

Guys, what do I do?!?! I click out of this window but it keeps coming up.

Update: the window stopped popping up.
I would still, however, like to find out what the error was.

I wouldnt worry a whole lot about it sage. In fact, I would disable it! (I did)
It may have been some fluke in a program or a driver issue. Chances are you will rarely see it again, if ever.
There have been several articles about this...And you may just be sending M$ a little more info than you want to!

Here (http://www.techtv.com/callforhelp/answerstips/story/0,24330,3362242,00.html) is one short article on how to disable it.

And another (http://www.windows-help.net/WindowsXP/tune-08.html) with a link about privacy concerns.
