pc is not getting on even though electric cord is ok

My computer is not getting on.
when i switch it on thing that i observed is both fans are working properly and lan card light glows.
monitor also not getting on.
i have checked the same power cord with other comp and observed its working fine.
can any body let me know what could be the reason for this along with how to rectify this.

Was this computer working previously? Is this a personal build, or a proprietary computer of some sort?

Would you provide all the system specs? Motherboard manufacturer? Have you checked the monitor on another computer to make sure it's operational?
