I have Microsoft Windows Xp Professional and i have a problem with my keyboard also my uncle has xp and he has got the same problem.

All of the symbols on my keyboard are all messed up ie. to type an @ i have to press shift and 2 which should be shift and '.

And to get a " i have to press shift and @ which should be shift and 2

there are others messed up aswell and i think that it is a common xp problem. is there anyway to solve this becuase i dont think microsoft are doing anything about it.

It sounds like your keyboard is set to QWERTY which is the standard American configuration. You can go into your Keyboard settings in Control Panel and set the keyboard for whatever your language or normal keyboard configuration is.
