when I go to e-bay or dabs or some other sites & click on the search box I get a drop down list of everything I've ever searched for.
it's fine whilst your still looking, but the list gets endless with things that your no longer interested in.
How do I clear the list?

Hi Vic.
I think that the info that's annoying you is most likely to be in a cookie on your system. Have you cleared your cookie file recently? If not, it might be possible to run a cookie manager and clear out the rubbish. I mean, you want to keep the cookie from here don't you?

IE 6.0 = Tools > Internet Options > Content > AutoComplete...
From there you will find the options you want.
Not sure about other browsers though.
Hope this is what you were asking for. :)
A PC Magazine utility named AutoWhat? will allow you to selectively edit the auto-complete lists...

Good evening, Vic :)
I think that u need a program which I use called "IE5 Address Bar Editor". In spite of its name, it runs fine on IE6 (and on my Crazy Browser!) And it's FREEEEE!!!
Get it from here: www.freesoft.fsnet.co.uk/
Hope its what u are looking for. :D :D
