I had to print out an Adobe (.pdf) document for my brother this morning. It was an official US govt form (figures). Once printed on the HP DeskJet 940c the title blocks all were...well...actual little square blocks..sorta like when ya open a file in Wordpad that isnt meant to be viewed in Wordpad.
I was using the latest updated drivers for the printer and the latest free version of Adobe Acrobat Reader.
After some research I found that there are True type fonts and then there are Type 1 fonts...seems there is a substitution problems going on...anywho
After deciding to not twiddle with trying to install the Type 1 fonts...I chose "Print" and deselected the "fit to page" option.....walla...it printed out perfectly.
Just a little info I'm passing on!
