I do hope I am in the right area nevertheless I am finishing building my first computer that I salvaged from the computer bone yards>> I have a pentMMX 2.0G HD I installed W95 as a starter>> Everything so far is OK But I am stuck with FAT 16 file sys. this machine has the capability for 32 Can someone please tell me as to where I may change this from 16 to 32> I have tried going to setup but there is nothing there >> If you can give me an idea as to where to look I will be able to finally finish this project off> Then i will try mandrake 8.2 >>>Thank you

in w98 its >start>programs>accessories>sytem tools>drive converter.

Some versions of Windows 95 does not support Fat32.
You will need OEM Service Release 2.1 or greater for Fat32.

All versions of Windows 98 supports Fat32 though.

Thank you very much that really did help me to understand a better knowledge on the FAT system and unfortunately my system will not support the FAT32 . Thank you again. Great support >>>
