IE window

Might seem like a trivial problem, but it is really frustrating. When I open IE5 the window is halfway off the screen on the right-hand side and I have to drag it back to see the whole window. I've tried creating a shortcut to it and setting it to open maximized, but that didn't help.

IE 5 running on Win98.

Try positioning and resizing the window the way you want it and then close the window while holding down the shift key. ;)

I realise that this a little off-topic, but I'll ask anyway:D

Is it possible in W98SE for the screen display to be split vertically, so that two different browser pages can be seen side-by-side, at the time?:confused:

Click on your task bar ( any windows ) and choose " tile vertically ", or horizontially, or cascade for a really neat look.

Thanks Paul for solving my problem.

Strange though, when I maximize the window it is an inch to the right of the screen with an inch gap on the left. So now I just run it in a window.
