Against the background of recent problems - hopefully now behind us - I don't suppose that this point is of any great significance.

Basically, however, the PCGuide Forum is running the WRONG time.

According the on-screen display, all times are GMT.

At present, however, the time shown is in fact British Summer Time, BST, which is, until late October, GMT+1.

In the UK, as I type this missive, it is 01.50, or 1.50 am, and that is exactly the same time as is currently being shown in the Forums.

GMT is in fact 00.50.

Thought it should be pointed out:) :)

I think that your right, but i think that the time is really east coast time in usa. [just kidding] I'm game to go with any time you want. AND i am really back up to speed, so whatever everyone feels should be the right time is fine with me.
Mark;) ;)

Mitch: Short answer is that you're right but I can't do anything about it. Apparently the code doesn't properly compensate for DST. I may be able to fix this but probably won't bother, sorry. :)

I never even paid attention to the time before but just checked and it is correct here(Central Time).
Have you tied going into user cp and checking to see if the correct time adjustment is selected?

No need to make adjustments in CP because the correct local time (Western European if you like) is in fact being displayed. It is just that it is described as GMT when it is in fact BST (British Summer Time) due to the one hour of "daylight saving"; a thing I would, personally, love to see done away with.
