video delay

I've just started to do some video capture from camera, and finding my way around.

I did a couple and all was fine.

but then I fouled one up whilst editing and adding titles. now there is a delay on the video.

Ok, vic, you are compiling something like a slideshow, right?

Is the one you messed still saved in the original format? Can you drop it back in sequence?

thanks for the reply.

No, I lost the one that I messed up, but I did a defrag on all my drives overnight. and it's working ok again this morning.

there are a couple of progs giving probs at the moment (since the Linux install, but don't know if connected) so I think I will have to do a backup and try a norton 'fix' or something. I just keep putting it off as there is really only partition magic that is not working (plus access to Linux of course)
