I.E 5.5 disturbs me a lot!

Hi, You might have noticed that when you open mulitple I.E windows, you can't work on a single window unless all of them are loaded completely.

Suppose window1 contains your new mail compose page,on the half way thro' the typing, you open a new window & visit some other site.
Now you switch over to your first window & continue with your typing. You can find that the control gets transfered to the second window While the page is loading. Can we stop this & let the page load silently without disturbing us?

I think most of you would have faced this problem. Plz. don't suggest to use browsers like netcaptor :p ,which has multiple tabbed windows,for I wish to solve this in I.E itself.

That my friend is a failing of windows in general...letting other apps steal the focus of an open window. Now if I could just remember that reg setting.....TweakUI has a setting that is supposed to prevnt this.

But basically most programs will do thism it is not limited to just IE (heck even Mozilla, which is a tabbed browser will do it)

The easiest way is to use TweakUI....because the reg key does not have a simple on/off value. :(

The option is on the general tab, "Prevent applications from stealing focus"...
