Can anyone please tell me how I can transpose, ie, reverse left to right, a scanned image, eg, a photo. I'm using an HP Scanjet 5300C with Windows 98SE.
Thanks

Hi Fred, and welcome toThe PC Guide Forums
I don't know what software came with your scanner, but most image editors have an option to "flip" (top to bottom) or "mirror" (Side to side). If you need a program to do this then I, along with others here would recommend Paint Shop Pro which is available in a "shareware" version.
Hope that helps.

Hi Fred and David
You can do this in Irfanview, which is a superb FREEE prog.
Get it from: www.irfanview.com/english.htm
Hope this helps you.:) :)

... it can also be done in Paint, without any downloads! ;)

Sure can Paul, although I had to install Paint on to my W98SE system - from the Windows CD.
In a lot of ways, and IMHO, Paint is a somewhat underrated program.
I still admire Irfanview though! How it can be distributed free, I just don't know?

David, Mitch, Paul: Thanks your inputs. Both IrfanView and MS Paint do exactly what I want. Brilliant!
Thanks again
