I have to gloat.

After 30 years of being a New England Patriots fan, its paying off. Super Bowl Champs of course, but last night they looked like Champs again the way they spanked the Steelers. Tom Brady is the coolest cat in the NFL, and the defense was brutal. Looking forward to a great season.

Well YD....I hate to be the fly in the ointment, but your road to repeat has to go through Randy Moss! :p

I don't suspect Moss'll be a problem. Mind you, I don't follow stats, but the guy never really showed me anything. He catches two passes per game, they just happen to be 60+ yds for a TD. Yeah, okay, he gets double teamed a lot, but that really speaks to the depth of the Vikings receiver bin. The Viking who worries me more is Dante Culpepper. Mind of a QB, physique of a tight end. He's the guy Cordell Stewart wishes he could be like.

Lookin'good. Shellacked the Jets today too!

the real road goes straight through denver, the last team to win back-to-back superbowls. it's hard to win 2 in a row!

new england was lucky to have drew bledsoe, a very classy player who should wear his superbowl ring proudly...

The Moss comment was couched in derision! :p

I honestly don't think that the NFL's "Michael Jordan" is Randy Moss. He'll make some highlight reels, but his personal endeavors will fall flat in light of how the team fares.

As far as Dante goes, seems he needs a new set of mitts! :( I can understand the karate chop fumble, but the other two....

What really was sickening was watching the consecutive 3 and outs during the overtime. They simply couldn't move the ball! I'm not sure if it was play calling or inability to execute.

It certainly was an exciting game though. Scoring a combined total of 52 points in the second half, and then an 84 grand total including overtime sure beats 3-0 defensive midfield see saw!
