I've got a bit of a niggly question (and its quite technical). I'm new to our office and hence want to look good when my boss returns from his holiday :)
I'm setting up 15 XP desktop field pc's (standalone machine/static ip with vpn network access). Field users access all their email/calander/appointments via Ms Outlook 2002 and our Exchange 5.5 Server. Our network is a mainly Win2k S,AS/NT4 environment.
Basically they log on each morning & evening to synchronise their email & appointments.
THATS WORKS FINE, this is the clincher......
I need to setup 2 machines on-site (i.e. Here) that ALL 15 Field users can come in access when they are working on-site (with all their email/appointment data). I have a 'configuration template' for setting up the users desktop profiles and was simply going to simply create each users profile on the 'roaming'/on-site pc's. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to a better way of doing this, or is my way ok, etc.....
Many thanks for taking time to read this,
