Hello All,

I have a geforce 3 ti 200 with vga and an s video output with windows xp pro. When i go to set up dual monitors on the settings tab of the display control panel, my s video monitor does not show up at all on the screen. Yet i know the s video output works because in the advanced section, i click on the nvidia tab that says device selection and i click on the tv bubble and things work fine. Yet in that, you can only have one or the other. The s video still doesnt show up on the settings tab. I also just installed the newest win xp drivers. I also made sure i didnt have adobe type manager (dual monitors will not work with it on) running or installed. Is this possible.... please help. Also, If i cant find a solution to this, can anyone sugest a good dual vga output video card that has at least 32 or 64 mb of memory?well thanks for reading this massive paragraph

DO you have the TV on and set to accept S-video input? Unless Windows "sees" a second, active monitor connected to the video card, it won't show the option to use it...

Also, is there special software for the vid card that allows you to manage multiple displays? You may need to install this in addition to the drivers.

If you can't get it to work, or if it doesn't work the way you want, I recommend the Radeon 7500 or 8500. They both work great with dual displays. I have a 7500 running two 21" monitors at 1024x768, 32-bit color...

Don't know about the geforce settings, having never used one, but you might take another look at the manual and make sure you have everything set up right.

As far as the ATI Radeon, I'm using the Radeon dual head card in my Windows machine and like it pretty well. I think it's the 7500, 64MB DDR, and right now I'm running it on a pair of Unisys 15" monitors at 800x600, 16 bit and it works great. Just reinstalled recently and haven't installed any games yet, but just for regular use it's nice...
