What should I set my DRAM timimg to?

I have 7ns DRAM. My Mobo is set to 10 ns in the Bios. What are the effects of changing the timing? Is it wise to change the timing (choices are 10ns>8ns>normal>medium>fast>turbo)? Thanks

If you set it to "Turbo" in bios and it works.....then it works http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif....If not, go lower till it works. By not working, I would mean that you get Win errors and lockups...otherwise, you are good to go....wont HURT ANYthing to try different settings...trust me http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif....no really, it wont.

Seems to be working well in 'fast' mode. 'Turbo' produced some freezing with applications. Thanks Brian
