I have an older (cica 91)Sony 17in monitor, purchased at swap meet and was assured it worked. When I hooked it up the screen lights and I have a barely discernable picture. After inquiry about problem was told these older monitors had a fixed frequency and would not work with the newer computers of today. Anyone have a therory on this? It has the individual color jacks on rear panel also output jacks for HORZ SYNC and VERTICAL SYNC.
