I have a PC which a pone receiving a scanned barcode it prints documents and labels. For the user, the keyboard is useless and is just a temptation to see if they can find games and such on the PC, thereby crashing the system. Whenever I try to unplug the keyboard I get a keyboard I/O error on boot. Is there any way around this?
Eric
In the Bios you can find and set Halt On all error
To ignore all errors and continue to boot
This May allow you to remove the keyboard

Why don't you buy a wireless keyboard? The adapter will plug into the PS2 port and then you can bring in the keyboard when you need to do some work on the PC.

Thats sounds like a great plan. I never thought of it. Thanks.
The tec needs to get on the PC twice a week, this way he could.
Thanks...
Eric
