Hi everyone, i'm having problems with my Internet connection, i got a msg like this " your modem is not connecting keep hanging up".How can i test my 56k modem to see if is working or not?...Thanks

Usually there is a diagnostic routine available with the modem. I can't check on my work computer, but I beleive it is through Properties for the modem in Device Manager. If it isn't there, it is probably in Dialup Networking under the modem listing. It should tell you if the modem is working. I would also check connections to make sure everything is in the right place and the modem is seated properly in its slot.

Which OS are you using ? and when you get the DUN error message there is usually a help or info button that may give you an error code that could help point to a specific problem.
If the modem software has a diagnostics facility they are usually in Control Panel under something like Modems or Modem Settings.
Also can you "hear" the modem dialling and can you connect to an ordinary telephone number using the "Phone Dialer"?
