Trying to make a CD of totally free useful programs (must be legal)
If anyone can add any useful ones to the list it would be appreciated.
(plus what they think of theirs or others suggestions)
So far
1. AVG - Anti virus - so far seems quite good detected viruses that our corporate copies of Sophos couldnt. Anyone know of any real advantage of going to the paid version and is it worth it.
2. Zone Alarm - firewall, good, anyone know of any real advantage of going to the paid version and is it worh it.
3. Zone alarm analyser - nice program that gives a lot more info on those attacks in zone alarm, Hack or just a bit of friendly handshaking.
4. Adaware - remove spyware.
5. american army operations - excellent shoot em up, with a recuritment to the USA Army theme.
PS Totally free and full versions please
Many thanks :)

End-it-All (http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,4149,697,00.asp)
This utility, EndItAll 2, lists all the programs running on your system and lets you decide which ones to close down. The processes necessary for basic system operation are protected from termination, though. From the remaining processes, you can choose which to close, which to kill (close down forcibly), and which to protect. Once you know which files you want to shut down, you can configure EndItAll for automatic action via a script or a batch file. This is useful for backups and defrags during off-hours. Options let you block power-management utilities and screen savers during operation.
Sygate Personal Firewall (http://soho.sygate.com/free/default.php)
Protects against Trojans, spy ware, worms and other known & unknown threats
Prevents unauthorized or malicious applications from bypassing the firewall
Enables even inexperienced users to easily customize and fine-tune security policies

Easiest-to-use PC firewall and still free for personal/home use
