Very Simple Video Question

I accidentally asked this question in the hardware section earlier. Sorry. Anyway, I've got some .WMV files that are out of sync. Everything is fine at first, but at a certain point the video ends up like 3 seconds behind the audio. Is there anything I can do for this? I'm using Windows Media Player 7.1

How long is the video (more than 2 minutes)?

It is possible that it was compiled dropping a frame or so per second to reduce the file size and that the audio was not re-synced...especially if it starts fine and ends the way you described.

As for fixing.....maybe with some good video editing software, but that format is kind like a finished product and eidting options are going to be somewaht limited (like jpegs...finished, compressed format)
