Digital camara help

Cam types Philips ToUcam Model PCVC 740K & Tiny 3 in 1 digital cam. Os Win 2000, Mobo Asus A7V333, on board sound, 512Mb PC2700, G3 Ti 500, Maxtor 45Gig HDD & 10Gig nondiscript. CPU AMD Thunder Bird 1.2 and a 300Watt PSU. Other USB devices include intel optical mouse, ADSL modem and 4 port hub. The system runs fine with no conflicts until the web cam is installed. I have 2 web cams and the same file keeps popping "stream.sys" causes some sort of error. error messeges follow.

Windows - Driver Entry Point Not Found : The \SystemRoot\system32\drivers\usbaudio.sys device driver could not locate the entry point_USBD_ParseDescriptors@16 in driver USBD.sys

Windows - Driver Entry Point Not Found : The\System Root\System32\DRIVERS\camdrv21.sys device could not locate the entry point RtlRaiseException in driver ntoskrnl.exe?????????????????'??????.



Ive installed all the windows updates. Updated my USB drivers (even tried uninstalling them, did not solve the issue) my audio drivers and mobo drivers. Aslo i had issuse installing the Tiny Cam on Me where STREAM.SYS was an issue. The problems started since i installed my new ASUS A7V333 Mobo. The tiny cam, with drivers supplied, worked with no issues on my previous system. Any help offerd would be greatly appreciated.

its ok, the problem has been killed off, he uninstalled Directx 8.1b and went back to 8.1 and now all is working pukky.:D

How did you uninstall DirectX 8.1b?

I've never figured out how to do that.
