note: there are already cracks out for this.. and it's not even totally released yet on new 'Store bought' systems..

interesting.. I knew office XP sucked... and also the new OS XP if they don't change some crap... Its gona be real easy for hacker to use your machine as a hacking instrument... the RAW sockets I mean... Zombie scripts will be a piece of cake to write and execute...
Any way what does Microcrap care what you do with your computer.. Screw them.. thats some privacy violation..If you ask me (refering to the problem posted in the article)

just a note.

I wonder why we need to "upgrade" to any new office programs.. office 2k works fine for me.. and on machines that I have been on that have 1/2 the capabilities of mine, office 97 loads faster than OFFice2k on mine!! (Word 97 > to Word 2000)

(much faster) http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/eek.gif

Think I'll stick with Word 97, it works great and I'm pretty sure they can't shut it down if I change video cards...Same for Publisher...

So many idiots, and only six bullets...

yeah, i tried out office xp(corporate edition) and it has some annoying features. i realize u can turn all these off but they are still creating a stitch on my lazy bum.

office 2000 is still my ideal choice for microsoft suites.
