Hi folks,

I'm always messing around with my computers. Trying this and that. Adding new hardware and operating systems. I have three machines with 4 different os's all networked thru a router. My networking skills are minimal, so it takes me many tries to get everything to work right. Sometimes things get so confused that I would just like to start over.

I guess my question is....short of formating and reinstalling the os's...Is there anyway to clear the networking info on XPpro, XPhome, w2kpro and 98se and starting over?

Maybe if I do it enough times I can get it right. :)

Yes you can BUT it would require some Major hack work on the registry
Unfortunately all versions of windows stores network info in there

Just removing the network card and protocols doesn’t remove it from the registry

In fact if you installed the MS ICS ( internet Connection Sharing ) You can Not remove that without hacking the registry

Thanks Rick,

I must admit, that's not the answer that I was hoping for, but oh well. If it was to easy it wouldn't be as much fun...
