I recently switched over to a cable ISP and am now using Outlook Express 6 for the first time.
The account "Main Identity"seemed to create itself.
I added a "Steve" account and a "daughter" account. Each with a separate e-mail address.
But all incoming mail goes to the "Main Identity" account. How come?
TIA :)

Which OS Steve? The first thing I would check is that they are not both using the same Store Folder; see under Tools<>Options<>Maintenance and click the StoreFolder Button in both identities.
I'm sure this has been asked here before but I cant find the thread for now.

Thanks Paul,
This is IE6 / XPpro. It looks like they are using different folders. The long alpha-numeric entry is different for each one.
I looked through the search results but didn't find it either...:(

An identity can contain more than one account. "Main Identity" is not an account; it is an identity. You can go to File|Identities|Add Identity to add a new identity. You can also go to File|Identities|Manage Identities to get an overview of all identities, add or remove an identity, password protect an identity and set an identity as the "default" identity.
Once you've created the identities you need and set their properties as you like, go back and create the accounts inside them. For example, switch to the identity "Steve" and add your email account, then switch to the identity "Sweet, Loving and Respectful Daughter" identity and add her email account. :)
