Do you think it would be possible to connect a Windows 98 PC to an old PC with Msdos and a 8088 processor. I do not think so as there is no such as NIC cards on those old PCs but may be there is a possibility.

All need to do is find old isa nic’s
Then find an install the network drivers
networks have been around a Very Long time.
Including the 8088

ISA NICs are pretty common resale items.....so look around places like resale shops, thrift stores, etc. They can usually be found for just a couple of bucks, but try to find ones from 3com, Dlink or other "name" brands, the drivers will be easier to find.....
