System Hanging

can anyone help me out??????here goes
p3 800 256meg pc133 Win ME pci 128 sound
cuv4x board via apollo pro chipset
voodoo3 32meg vga card
I've been having problems for ages now,the system just keeps locking up, mostly when trying to run 3d games like black+white i've got the latest drivers for the voodoo vga card and updated the bios on the board. I also downloaded ver 429a via 4-1 drivers.
I've loaded agp drivers in standard/turbo mode (no different).
I've used older drivers and underclocked the p3 (no different)lock ups....
Ive even sent the board, p3 and memory for bench testing all checked out ok?...
I've reduced the graphics acceleration all the way (no different)
I,I've reloaded win me and installed just one game to rule out conflicts with other software guess what (no different)
HELP......PLEASE

If you havent already....I suggest the Service Pack 1 for Win Me. If you have done that ALREADY.....join the long list of unhappy Win Me customers and consider going back to Win 98 SE.

I WILL TRY SERVICE PACK 1 FOR WIN ME, BUT I'VE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM ON WIN 98 SO I TRYED WIN ME RECENTLY...
