Problems with TV out

Hi, all.

I have a P4 2.4 and GeForce4 128 video card with S-video out. I primarly want to watch DVD movies through my TV. When I connect to the TV, I get two problems:
1) I can't seem to perfectly center the video image on the TV screen. I've used the screen image mover app that is part of the advanced properties of the video card. It helps, as it moves the image somewhat, but then it won't go all the way to where I need it to go.
2) I get a weird vertical refresh/hold type of line that moves from the bottom of the TV screen to the top. It's not terribly noticeable but enough to dissapoint me.

Any thoughts?

What resolution are you at when your on the TV? Try 800X600, right click on the desktop>Properties.

Would you let us know if that helps to get things centered on the TV screen?

Thanks for your help. I changed the properties to 800X600, 16bit instead of 32bit and things are better. Although, the screen is still slightly off center to the right to the point where I need to still adjust using the screen placement tool. Also, the verical line is less prominent.

I tend to always want perfection with my PC...bad trait. ;)
