Am I falling for a gag here??:D Being seriously minded, I will answer the question without having any idea what the 123 stuff is..lol. "User CP" on that little bar of buttons on each screen here..then there's a "Edit Password" button about 4 over from the left on another little bar of buttons.

The subject said it all and I had to put something in the message body so I typed "123".

I stay logged in, so haven't ever gotten around to changing my original "no way I can remember that..good thing I wrote it down" password for here..:)

You did get yours changed, right? I was just wondering yesterday..based on the After Hours location of your question..but I have long said that we need an "Other" category! Many of my questions do NOT fit nicely or neatly into a category listed. And don't you hate it when you call some company and you get the "press 1 for blah blah, press 2 for blah blah," etc and you NEED an "other" number choice?? Or "press 5 for 'none of the above'"...(insert a small "frustrated" icon here).

"frustrated" icon here

I think I'm on my secoined password fore this site.

If you're not logged out, why can't we see when you're browsing this site? Invisible mode does NOTHING to prevent any maliciousness you may find (or be paranoid of). A firewall hard/software base will doas much.

It just keeps you out of tush...

Sorry, Fruss ...I can't resist! Maybe I don't want anyone "tushing" me...:D :D Seriously, it is really not about people knowing that I am "here"..it was the tracking aspect I don't like. Part leftover wariness from a spooky experience I had in a chat room while new to the Net, and partly ego..is it really necessary for you to know that I am the world's slowest thinker/typist?? On the first, well obviously I am fond of many people here and not afraid of you/them at all, but we have no control over who wanders through here...and I think the recent serial killings in Washington are a good example of irrational insane violence/hatred for others. It would be against the odds to think that no one like that has ever perused this site.

Seeing a name as logged-on only shows that a pc somewhere has logged on as me. Even if it is me, I could be using a mail program, another browser, or out with the dogs for that matter. Seeing is not believing.
