Assuming that you don't have a floppy disk in the drive, it sounds like your harddrive is not getting read. I would check the cables to make sure they are properly connected. If that doesn't work, you may want to make sure there hasn't been some change to settings in CMOS Setup or you could try running diagnostics from a DOS prompt. BTW, have you tried booting into Safe Mode yet?? If you haven't, I would try that and see if you can find any clues in Device Manager and/or look for signs of contamination.

Good luck,
Budfred

Thanks Budfred from what I understand there is no disk in the machine. You can only get into cmos. From power on it's invalid system disk. Will have them check the cables. Thanks

Some problems are so easy to solve when you are actually in the room with the machine.:D :D

Glad it worked out easy.
