One of the principles in my company wants to scroll very
long texts on his machine as a screen saver. We've tried
several screensaver maker programs, but they are not what
he wants. The Marquee style in Screen Savers on the
Display icon in Control Panel is exactly what he wants,
but it has a text limit which is way too smallfor him. Is
there some way to expand the text limit on this? Either
through registry settings, third party apps or maybe a
visual basic tweak? Any help would be greatly appreciated
by a network admin with better things to do!!!

Welcome to PCguide forums, mlynch1958 ...

you may try this Advertising Screensaver (http://www.inner-smile.com/dl_adv.htm), but its a shareware and you will have to shell out $19 for it, which i dont think is worth ....

try developing a screensaver yourself (dont ask me how, coz i dont know :( ), it would be more fun to do it the hardway and in the process you will learn a lot.

also, try querying on VB programming messageboards (www.programmersheaven.com).

bye.
