I try again to post this message as I have cleared my browser's cache, following the advice of an e-mail by the moderator. When I try
to run the Visual C++ software a message box is displayed saying The line DEVICE = <Directory specified in setup for binaries\MMD.386 is missing in your SYSTEM.INI[386Enh] section. The problem is what line should I write and how in the system.ini file (with the Notepad).
The Visual C++ which i have is probably supposed to run on Windows 3.x (?) and my o.s. is Windows 98 which anyway does have a system.ini file.
Also,it is something related to virtual devices used with Windows in 386 Enhanced mode. But I do not know much about this matter. Thanks. LB.
