I have an HP computer. The full hardrive is factory partitioned to C: I was wondering if I could take a couple of gigabytes and make like an E: so i can just put my personal stuff in it. If so how? I'm running XP Home

I partitioned factory partiotioned drive with Partition Magic,In Win 98,me and 2000 but never with Xp. But I think it also work with Xp.

Yes you can. Using PartMagic you can partition in XP. I think from PM6 onwards. Definately PM 7 & 8
