Well it's 432am...just finished spending 5hrs on the phone with a dude whose box I worked on earlier last night. He made some errors of not uninstalling programs and tried installing updated programs over top of the old ones. Eventually he corrupted the registry and I couldn't recover it so alas I had to scrub windows. So is life eh. At least he had the foresight to back things up so not all was lost. He called five hrs ago with a few questions and we cleared them up. Then we got into a conversation about old time radio shows. He has a decent collection of them. I'm partial to Jack Benny and Bob Hope. He's gonna burn me a CD of that kind of stuff and I'll search WinMx for whatever I can find. I know Jack Benny did just over 1000 radio shows in his career, For Bob Hope I'm not sure. What I do know is those guys make me chuckle.
For my troubles he tossed some cash at me and a case of beer. Now it's 441am and the beer has gone done good. Led Zep is playing over the stereo as I watch the snow gently fall. All is quiet here, could hear a pin drop outside. There's a fog bank rolling in over the lake and it looks peaceful. This is the best time of day. There's no chaos out there.
Who knows what tomorrow will bring.
